EMR Celebrates 20 Years!
On March 15, 2008, EMR, Inc. celebrated its 20th anniversary as a company. Since our founding in 1988, we have gained experience and capabilities in a diverse range of services including engineering, construction/construction management, environmental remediation, industrial hygiene, and facility operations & maintenance. Our resources include 112 people in 9 primary offices and 11 field offices located throughout the United States. Our diversity is reflected in our client base as well. We have worked for numerous federal agencies, state and local governments, Native American tribes, and commercial and industrial clients.
EMR Completes Big Lake Dam Design/Build at Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia
EMR was contracted by the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) to design and build a rehabilitation project for one of the oldest standing dams in Georgia. The project was entitled “Repair/Alter the Storm Water System at Big Lake Dam for the 94th Mission Support Group (MSG), Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia.” EMR, with the help of subcontractors Earth Tech, MACTEC, and ASI, responded to a call from AFRC-Dobbins and, at their request, completed the site walk within two days of notification. EMR’s contract value for this project was $3.9M. The project was awarded to EMR on September 29, 2007 and completed May 30, 2008, approximately four months ahead of the contract end date.
