NEX Renovation

Location: Corry Station, FL

EMR was awarded a $4.9M contract to renovate the NEX Main Store which may include, but is not limited to the interior remodel of existing tenant space to create a Mini Mart; the addition of exit vestibule adjacent to checkout area; the addition of a ‘connector link’ between Buildings 3725 and 3745, with an internal vestibule at Building 3745; rework of site work at Home Goods Garden Center space to resolve water issues; renovation of public toilet facilities in exchange store, Customer Service area, exterior breezeway space; and the addition of exterior entry elements and signage to Buildings 3725 and 3745.

Renovate Colmer Dining Facility

Location: NCBC Gulfport, MS
Client: NAVFAC Southeast

EMR was awarded a $16.9M contract to renovate a dining facility at the Naval Construction Battalion Center in Gulfport, MS. Enhancements will be made to cold storage areas which will include expansion of the area. Improvements to electrical and mechanical systems will result in the replacement of HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler system, etc. Parking will also be updated along with some architectural changes, and a temporary kitchen facility will be put in place at a separate, near-by location to keep operations running smoothly until the project is completed.

Addition/Alteration to Commissary

Location: NAS Pensacola, FL
Client: Defense Commissary Agency

EMR was awarded a contract with the magnitude of construction between $10M and $25M which includes upgrading the existing Commissary. Construction will include modernizing commissary equipment and improve efficiency and operational requirements in order to better align with current DeCA standards. Construction will include work on an administrative area, produce department, meat department, dairy department, frozen food section, deli/bakery, operational support area, and staging/receiving areas. The project will also incorporate the use of a refrigeration system.

Construct NEX Fleet Store / Gas Station

Location: Norfolk NAS, Northwest Annex, Chesapeake, VA
Client: NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic / NEXCOM

Design-Bid-Build NEX Gas Station/Mini Mart project included a new Gas Station, Grocery, and Barber Shop for the Navy. EMR provided a complete refrigeration system, including a walk-in cooler and reach-in refrigerated and frozen food cases. Complete fuel system, including a 15,000 split tank for diesel, regular, and premium fuel. Veeder Root Monitoring System, Wayne Fuel dispensers, and Commander Credit Card Payment System were included. The system was fully tested and inspected and all required permitting was provided. This project was LEED Silver.
