KC-46A ADAL Flight Simulator Training Project

EMR’s $6 million KC-46A ADAL Flight Simulator Training Project at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida supports the modernization and expansion of the existing KC-135 Aircrew Training System facility (Building 295) for KC-46A training functions.

The project scope includes an expansion to accommodate an additional Boom Operator Trainer (BOT), along with interior renovations to support two Weapons System Trainers (WSTs), two BOTs, computer rooms, two Pilot-Part Task Trainers, and associated office, briefing, and training areas.

Construction features reinforced concrete foundations and floor slabs, brick veneer with cast concrete accents, and a standing seam metal roof designed to complement the existing facility.

The project enhances the installation’s aircrew training capabilities by providing the specialized infrastructure and training spaces needed to support the KC-46A mission.

NASP Demo Project Phase 2

Bldg 804 Smoke Stack and Fuel Tanks Awaiting Demolition

Location: NAS Pensacola, FL

Client: NAVFAC

EMR has been awarded a $5 million Design-Bid-Build contract to perform facility demolition and site restoration work at Naval Air Station Pensacola and NAS Saufley Field in Pensacola, Florida.

The project includes the complete demolition of thirteen buildings and partial demolition of one additional facility, along with removal of associated support structures, utilities, and site elements. Work will also include hazardous material abatement, utility disconnections, and removal of building foundations and below-grade structures.

Select materials will be salvaged for historical preservation and provided to the installation. Following demolition, the sites will be restored and graded to match surrounding conditions, preparing the areas for future development.

Environmental Engineering Research Facility Renovation

Location: Vicksburg, MS

Client: USACE

EMR was awarded a $4.5M contract for the renovation of Building 3297, a 17,593-square-foot facility undergoing a comprehensive upgrade. The project includes the full replacement of the mechanical/HVAC system and a complete refresh of the administrative areas, including the front entrance and lobby, front offices, conference room, and break room—enhanced by the addition of a new wellness/mother’s room. The building’s north and south wing laboratories will also be modernized, with select labs reconfigured and expanded to create larger, more versatile spaces. Beyond the interior work, the project encompasses all associated civil and site improvements, including upgraded drainage systems and utility connections for both water and stormwater.

Hurricane Sally Supplemental Package 4

Location: NAS Pensacola, FL

Client: NAVFAC

EMR will complete a Task Order under the Department of the Navy to repair six real property facilities that sustained significant damage during Hurricane Sally including civil storm drainage repair and replacement, sturctural repair, interior and exterior architecture repair including roofing, mechanical, fire suppression, telecommunication, lightning protection, electrical system repair and more. The contract was awarded for the amount $21.8M.

Egress Shop

Location: Columbus, MS

Client: USACE

USACE awarded EMR with a$5.2M contract in April 2025 for the Design-Bid-Build construction of an Egress Shop for the T7 aircraft.
