EMR was awarded a $4.3M contract by USACE for the renovation of the BioSynthetic Lab on the Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) in Vicksburg, MS. Phase I of this project includes complete interior renovation of Building 6007, approximately 3,064 SF, along with renovations of some essential program components within Building 6011. Phase II includes the interior renovation of the remainder of Building 6011.

EMR was awarded a $5.1M contract by USACE to construct a Research, Development, Test & Evaluation Laboratory facility which includes a high bay area large enough to house tactical vehicles and an overhead crane that will be used to reconfigure the space as needed for each type of development undertaken on large instrumentation. Additional spaces required include offices, conference room, lab areas, restrooms, and common support spaces. Support facilities include site development, utilities and and more.

EMR was awarded a $6.3M contract to construct a new Shock and Applied Impact Laboratory. This project is a 7,616 square foot 1-story facility w/concrete foundation, pre-engineered steel frame structural system, insulated metal panel system, metal stud w/gypsum wall board walls, sloped metal roof system with insulation, and interior utilities (elect, fire suppression, plumbing and HVAC) to house firing instrument equipment for indoor experiments in high bay, control/office, unisex restrooms, lapping room, build room, mezzanine storage area, and communication area. Site improvements include landscaping, pavement, retention ponds, extended utilities, and all necessary supports.

Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic awarded a $10.8M contract to EMR, Inc. to construct a cryogenics facility. Included in this low-rise cryogenics facility is an administration/maintenance section, a liquid oxygen/nitrogen production section, and a covered storage area for gas cylinder storage.

After completing the first phase, EMR was awarded a $4.58M contract for the second phase of the TERF (Terminal Engagement Research Facility) project. The project will consist of the construction of a new metal building, ~18,000 square feet. Concrete foundations, metal wall panels, metal studs & drywall, metal roof, and finishes are all included in the scope of work.
