EMR has been awarded a $5 million Design-Bid-Build contract to perform facility demolition and site restoration work at Naval Air Station Pensacola and NAS Saufley Field in Pensacola, Florida.

The project includes the complete demolition of thirteen buildings and partial demolition of one additional facility, along with removal of associated support structures, utilities, and site elements. Work will also include hazardous material abatement, utility disconnections, and removal of building foundations and below-grade structures.

Select materials will be salvaged for historical preservation and provided to the installation. Following demolition, the sites will be restored and graded to match surrounding conditions, preparing the areas for future development.

EMR was awarded a $6.2M contract to provide new MWD kennels and renovated support space for MCLB Albany. This facility will enable the use of Military Working Dog to protect military and civilian personnel from risk of death and injury from explosive devices and narcotics. Military working dogs are used to protect personnel during routine working conditions, deployments, and training operations.

Out of five proposals, EMR was selected as the recipient of a firm-fixed-price task order in the amount of $12M to make repairs to Buildings 4149 and 646 which will include work on the roof, exterior envelope and interior repairs such as the fire alarm system, heating, HVAC, lighting and more.
