EMR was awarded an $18M contract at the Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC) in Gulfport, MS. The project involved the design and construction of the P855 expeditionary combat skills student BEQ housing 80+ modules, each being comprised of a semi-private sleeping room, two walk-in closets, a small service area including a micro-fridge, one lavatory, private toilet room and a private shower stall with dressing area to be shared by two people. The dormitory will also include administrative areas, recreational rooms, vending, and more.

EMR Awarded SOF C-146 Simulator Facility, Duke Field, FL

EMR was awarded a $7M contract for the construction of the SOF C-146 Simulator Facility at Duke Field in Florida. The Facility will have a foundation and floor slab, structural framing, insulated walls, sloped roof, environmental control, fire detection and suppression, and all necessary support. The functional areas of this project include offices, Weapon System Trainer (WST) high bay, Visual Threat Recognition and Avoidance Trainer (VTRAT), and Night Vision Goggles (NVG) room. The project provides relocation of perimeter fencing, new road access with associated primary utilities, and realignment of existing as required.

EMR was awarded a $4.8M contract at NAS Whiting Field in Milton, FL for the construction of temporary facilities for helicopter simulators. The temporary facilities project provides temporary space and supporting spaces for Helicopter Training simulators; including concrete pads, utility extensions, up to five lease years for the temporary facilities (design, assembly and installation of temporary, relocatable structures for the training simulators and support spaces such as administrative, restroom and breakrooms). The structures will be temporary in nature and require removal from the site once permanent facilities are available.
