Enlisted Aircrew Training System (EACTS) Facility

EMR was awarded a $9.8M contract to construct a new facility that will house an aircraft KC-130J flight simulator. The project will consist of a high-bay facility that provides covered, all-weather training environment support administrative spaces to support the Marine Corps flight simulator training program. The training system will include a Cockpit Procedures Trainer (CPT), Weapons System Trainer (WST), Fuselage Trainer (FUT), and an Observer Training Air (OTA) simulator. Site improvements include paving, parking, sidewalks, signage, and environmental protection measures.

Building 225 Dam Neck Annex

Location: NAS Oceana, Dam Neck Annex, Virginia Beach, VA
Client: NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic

This is a Design-Bid-Build (DBB) project that will renovate the interior of the Navy Gateway Inns & Suites (NGIS) Building #225 at NAS Oceana/Dam Neck Annex. The project includes renovations of suites, passageways, stairwells, laundry rooms, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire protection systems, and the exterior of the NGIS portion of Building 225.

Repair and Renovate Building 351

Location: Northwest Annex, VA
Client: NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic

The project consists of interior demolition (including asbestos-containing materials) and renovation of 81 double occupant sleeping rooms, including 4 HC rooms. The building also includes interior demolition and renovation of the mechanical room, 4 electrical rooms, 7 storage rooms, and janitors closets, 4 common restrooms, 3 each 3 story stairwells, 3 offices including the building manager’s office, and 1 each lounge, game room, and fire sprinkler room. The approximate area of the building is 28,230SF, with an allowable disturbed area for the site being 1.92 acres.

DLA Disposition Paved Scrap Storage Yard

Location: Eglin AFB, FL
Client: USACE

EMR was awarded a $3.7M contract for the DLA Disposition Paved Scrap Storage Yard. Within the current storage yard, work will include site regrading, paving, and construction of the stormwater retention area in order to provide suitable work areas and compliant groundwater discharge to adjacent waterways.

Addition/Alteration to Commissary

Location: NAS Pensacola, FL
Client: Defense Commissary Agency

EMR was awarded a contract with the magnitude of construction between $10M and $25M which includes upgrading the existing Commissary. Construction will include modernizing commissary equipment and improve efficiency and operational requirements in order to better align with current DeCA standards. Construction will include work on an administrative area, produce department, meat department, dairy department, frozen food section, deli/bakery, operational support area, and staging/receiving areas. The project will also incorporate the use of a refrigeration system.
