EMR was awarded a $17M contract at NAS Whiting Field in Milton, FL for the design and build of a Temporary Maintenance Hangar. The purpose of the project is to provide adequate temporary hangar space and supporting spaces for helicopters. The Temporary Maintenance Hanger will be a single-story pre-manufactured tension fabric structure with metal building framing and a fabric membrane founded on a concrete slab and foundation system.

SOF C-146 Simulator Facility

EMR Awarded SOF C-146 Simulator Facility, Duke Field, FL

EMR was awarded a $7M contract for the construction of the SOF C-146 Simulator Facility at Duke Field in Florida. The Facility will have a foundation and floor slab, structural framing, insulated walls, sloped roof, environmental control, fire detection and suppression, and all necessary support. The functional areas of this project include offices, Weapon System Trainer (WST) high bay, Visual Threat Recognition and Avoidance Trainer (VTRAT), and Night Vision Goggles (NVG) room. The project provides relocation of perimeter fencing, new road access with associated primary utilities, and realignment of existing as required.

P723 Corry Station A-School Unaccompanied Housing

EMR was awarded an $18M contract to design and construct new Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ). The new building will be connected to adjacent Building 1094 – the two building lobbies connected with a covered walkway system with entry access to each. The BEQ will also include a lobby/reception area, a TV room on each floor, common laundry on each floor, a first-floor vending room, bulk storage rooms, clean and dirty linen storage rooms, office spaces will be replaced with 2+0 – NETC rooms, break rooms and vending space on each floor. Each 2+0 NETC room will include space for a two-person bedroom, a bath, two closets, a cabinet with sink, an under cabinet refrigerator, and a microwave oven. The total building area is 69,858 sf.

Temporary Facilities for Helicopter Simulators

EMR was awarded a $4.8M contract at NAS Whiting Field in Milton, FL for the construction of temporary facilities for helicopter simulators. The temporary facilities project provides temporary space and supporting spaces for Helicopter Training simulators; including concrete pads, utility extensions, up to five lease years for the temporary facilities (design, assembly and installation of temporary, relocatable structures for the training simulators and support spaces such as administrative, restroom and breakrooms). The structures will be temporary in nature and require removal from the site once permanent facilities are available.

Renovate Colmer Dining Facility

Location: NCBC Gulfport, MS
Client: NAVFAC Southeast

EMR was awarded a $16.9M contract to renovate a dining facility at the Naval Construction Battalion Center in Gulfport, MS. Enhancements will be made to cold storage areas which will include expansion of the area. Improvements to electrical and mechanical systems will result in the replacement of HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler system, etc. Parking will also be updated along with some architectural changes, and a temporary kitchen facility will be put in place at a separate, near-by location to keep operations running smoothly until the project is completed.
